I had a rare supernatural experience in which Jesus brought me to meet His Father. I had just parked my car and was about to get out when, all of a sudden, I saw Jesus walking side by side with the Father. Jesus had His hands in the prayer position, and the Father was to His left, "invisible," but His presence was very stark.  I didn't have the opportunity to say a word. Only the Father spoke. He said one sentence: "We were only trying to keep people safe."

I played that sentence over in my head probably a hundred times before it all clicked.

I was taught that since we all fell into darkness since the beginning of time. The Trinity was created as a blueprint for escaping darkness successfully.

- God the Father - Creator

- God the Son, Jesus Christ - Sacrificed Himself for the past, present, and future sins. When we follow His teachings and obey Him, we abide in His light with the Father now and forever.

- God the Holy Spirit - Because sin is in our bodies, obedience would be impossible without the Holy Spirit. He wins the war against our flesh and against the forces of evil in the spiritual realm.

We have free will to decide where we want to live and end up. You need to understand that God has made sure we have every resource needed to rescue us from darkness.

Believing in Jesus and being baptized with the Holy Spirit is essential so the enemy can't trick us and keep us in darkness.
