I have to be honest, it's not easy to hear that we are living in darkness. In fact, no one wants to hear those words. But it's true. Thankfully, Jesus ensured that I made the right connections regarding Biblical doctrine. You are either living in darkness with the enemy, or abiding in the light of Jesus Christ with God. There is no in-between.

Returning home, back to God, is the most important decision you will ever make in this life. God created us to walk in the light. Jesus came to Earth to show us the way home and how to successfully walk out of darkness. Choosing to obey Christ is the only way for anyone to walk out of darkness. Jesus came here to tell us the truth and show us the way home. Jesus is the truth and the light, and following Him is the only way out of darkness.

I have placed all my trust in Jesus and His ways, meaning I obey His teachings daily because I know that with every teaching I apply, I am one step closer to being out of darkness and reunited with God, now and for all of eternity.

When you decide to follow Jesus and get out of darkness, the enemy will start to come after you. Your safety is everything to God. That is why He wanted us to have the Holy Spirit. He guides our path home while fighting the powers of darkness. He gives us the supernatural strength we need to endure the challenges we will face as we walk the journey home with Jesus.

Jesus showed us every step we need to take to get out of darkness successfully. He was baptized, so we must be baptized. It's that simple.

Please understand that belief and faith alone cannot lead you out of darkness; you must take action through obedience. The only way out of darkness is to obey all of Christ's teachings and commit to following Him daily.
